The Two x Fore Golf Association was organized in 1956, to play golf and promote good fellowship and better relationships between members of the following groups;

- The Empire State Lumber Salesman’s Association
- The Eastern New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects
- The Albany Builders Exchange
- The Schenectady Builders Exchange
- North Eastern Retail Lumber Dealers Association
